Founded in 2026 by Robert Butler, formerly of Kenaz Tactical Group, , Threshold Defense is committed to providing expert firearms training and personal defense education. Our experienced instructors are passionate about safety and preparedness, equipping you with the skills you need to feel confident and secure. Together, we can foster a community dedicated to responsible gun ownership.
We offer a variety of firearms training courses, including Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit courses, basic firearms safety, advanced shooting courses personal defense instruction, and specialized courses tailored to individual needs. (church security, etc)
Our training programs are designed for individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced shooters. We welcome everyone interested in responsible gun ownership and personal defense.
Robert has been teaching professionally since 2007, and as a full time career since 2011. Robert is NRA certified as well as Certified in the state of Colorado to teach CHP. If you want super detailed info, let me know.. =)
As of now, emailing training@thresholddefense.com is the best option as most of our training classes are provided on a private course model.
We do not offer refunds, however, we will work with you on rescheduling our class. All classes are pre-paid.
